We invite you to join us for The Court of Sun & Shadows, a weekend of immersive fantasy, starlit elegance, and enchantment. Our vendors and authors are the heartbeat of the realm, bringing the treasures, artifacts, and stories that allow our guests to step fully into another world. Whether you are an established artisan or a debut storyteller, we look forward to the magic you bring.

WE ARE SEEKING
We welcome makers, artists, authors, creators, and specialty service providers whose work complements the fantasy, bookish, magical, or imaginative atmosphere of The Court of Sun & Shadows.
FANTASY & BOOKISH GOODS
Books, bookmarks, annotation accessories, book sleeves, literary gifts, and book-inspired creations.
ART & ILLUSTRATION
Fantasy artwork, prints, stickers, illustrations, maps, and original artwork.
HANDCRAFTED TREASURES
Jewelry, candles, pottery, leatherwork, woodwork, crochet, handcrafted décor, and unique artisan goods.
FANTASY FASHION & ACCESSORIES
Crowns, tiaras, headpieces, cloaks, costume accessories, bags, jewelry, and wearable fantasy pieces.
MAGICAL & MYSTICAL GOODS
Celestial goods, crystals, botanical products, fantasy-inspired creations, and other magical treasures.
MYSTICAL & DIVINATION SERVICES
Tarot readers, astrologers, birth-chart readers, palm readers, rune readers, oracle-card readers, fortune tellers, and other appropriate interactive mystical services.
AUTHORS & STORYTELLERS
Authors of fantasy, romantasy, paranormal, science fiction, gothic, mythology and folklore, historical fantasy, speculative fiction, and related genres.
Not every item must be fantasy themed. We are looking for vendors whose overall products, services, presentation, or style complement the bookish and fantasy atmosphere of the event. Unique ideas are always welcome.
FEATURED GRAND BALL VENDORS
A select collection of vendors will be invited to bring their products or services to the Grand Ball itself. Final availability will depend on venue space and layout, they may include indoor or outdoor locations. These highly curated spaces are intended for vendors whose products, services, presentation, or interactive experiences contribute directly to the immersive atmosphere of The Court of Sun & Shadows.

FEATURED PLACEMENT
Featured Grand Ball Vendor placement; Opportunity to sell directly to Grand Ball guests
The donated prize does not need to be the vendor's own product, but it must be new/unused, appropriate for the event, and valued at $25 or more.
SATURDAY VENDOR HOURS
Featured vendors must be completely set up and ready to welcome guests by approximately 5:30 PM and must remain open through 9:00 PM. After 9:00 PM, vendors may close their booth and enjoy the remainder of the Grand Ball. Final Saturday setup/opening times may be adjusted slightly when the official event schedule is finalized.
Featured Grand Ball Vendor spaces cannot be purchased directly. Vendors must apply and be selected by Celestial & Starlight based on event fit, presentation, products or services offered, and available space.
On the application, vendors may select Sunday Market Only OR Sunday Market + Consideration for Featured Grand Ball Vendor. Selecting Featured Vendor consideration does not guarantee Saturday placement. There is no Saturday-only application option.

Fantasy Book & Artisan Market
Join us Sunday for a marketplace filled with books, handcrafted treasures, fantasy-inspired goods, artwork, accessories, mystical services, and unique creations.

10:00 AM–3:00 PM
VENDOR FEE

Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, tent/canopy, displays, equipment, and sales/payment methods.
Vendors must remain open throughout the market from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. Early teardown is not permitted except in an emergency.
Vendors keep the proceeds from their own sales and are responsible for applicable taxes and business requirements.

Calling All Storytellers
Independent and traditionally published authors whose work complements the fantasy and bookish atmosphere of The Court of Sun & Shadows are invited to join Author Alley during the Sunday Fantasy Book & Artisan Market.
Meet readers, sell and sign books, share your stories, and connect with Ohio's fantasy and book-loving community.
AUTHOR ALLEY PARTICIPATION IS FREE
Relevant genres may include: Fantasy • Romantasy • Paranormal • Science Fiction • Gothic • Mythology & Folklore • Historical Fantasy • Speculative Fiction • Related Genres
Authors provide their own table, chair, tent/canopy, display materials, and sales/payment method.
How Applications Work

APPLY
Applications open November 1, 2026. Complete the vendor application and select the opportunity for which you would like to apply.
REVIEW
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, generally within 7 days. Application does not guarantee acceptance.
ACCEPTANCE
Approved vendors will receive an acceptance email identifying the vendor opportunity or package for which they have been approved and any applicable payment instructions.

PAYMENT
Payment is due within 48 hours of the acceptance email. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the space may be released to the next eligible applicant.
YOUR SPACE IS CONFIRMED
Vendor spaces are considered reserved only after required payment has been received. Approved Author Alley participants will receive confirmation instructions instead of an invoice because Author Alley participation is free.
A NOTE ABOUT VENDOR VARIETY
To create a varied marketplace, Celestial & Starlight may limit the number of vendors offering substantially similar products or services. Earlier submitted applicants will receive priority within overlapping categories.
Application Options
You may choose Sunday Only or Sunday + Featured consideration. If selected for Featured, your Sunday market space is included in the package. Please note there is no Saturday-only vendor spots.
VENDOR FAQ
• WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Vendor fees are nonrefundable once an application has been accepted and payment has been submitted. Vendor spaces may not be transferred or resold to another vendor without prior approval from Celestial & Starlight.
• WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Sunday vendors are responsible for providing their own table, chairs, tent/canopy, displays, equipment, payment method, and anything else needed to operate their space. Additional venue-specific setup information will be provided to accepted vendors before the event.
• CAN I LEAVE THE MARKET EARLY?
Vendors are expected to remain open and staffed throughout the Sunday Market from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. Early teardown is not permitted except in an emergency.

• DO I KEEP THE MONEY FROM MY SALES?
Yes. Vendors keep the proceeds from their own sales and are responsible for their own payment processing, applicable taxes, permits, licenses, and other business requirements.
• CAN MORE THAN ONE VENDOR SELL SIMILAR PRODUCTS?
Possibly. To create a varied marketplace, Celestial & Starlight may limit vendors offering substantially similar products or services. Earlier approved applicants receive priority within overlapping categories..

• When and how do I pay for my spot?
Once you have received your acceptance e-mail, you will also receive an invoice to pay. You have 48 hours from the time the email is sent to pay or your spot may be released to the next eligible applicant.
• ARE THERE PRODUCT RESTRICTIONS?
Products and services should complement the overall bookish and fantasy atmosphere of the event. Not every individual product must be fantasy themed. Counterfeit merchandise and unauthorized copyrighted merchandise are prohibited.
• IS THE SUNDAY MARKET INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The Sunday Fantasy Book & Artisan Market is planned as an outdoor market. Standard vendor spaces are 12' × 12'. Final venue-specific setup, parking, arrival, and logistical information will be provided to accepted vendors.
• DO I NEED INSURANCE?
Insurance requirements may vary depending on the products, services, or activities offered and final venue requirements. Any applicable requirements will be communicated to accepted vendors.
• CAN I APPLY TO BE A FEATURED GRAND BALL VENDOR?
Yes. Select Sunday Market + Consideration for Featured Grand Ball Vendor on the application. Featured spaces cannot be purchased directly and are selected by Celestial & Starlight. There is no Saturday-only vendor application.
• WHAT IS INCLUDED IF I AM SELECTED AS A FEATURED GRAND BALL VENDOR?
The $$ Featured Vendor Package + one new/unused donated door-prize item valued at $25 or more includes Saturday Grand Ball vendor space, one Grand Ball admission for the participating vendor, one 12' × 12' Sunday Market space at no additional charge, and Featured Vendor placement.
